We knew the research for this project would be immense. Several agencies and small studios had tried to create the logo before us and failed. Knowing the client was very demanding, we approached it systematically. We explored many possibilities to help build the values that were missing in the Vilgain brand. Here are a few examples of how far we got in the research phase.
It’s all about how deep I delve. Everything holds meaning and significance; my intention is to find that basic spark that defines the rest.
The final concept we chose was based on balancing a symbol similar to the yin yang. However, after two months of research, we concluded that it would be best to take the superhero route. And so began the journey of creating 1,400 versions of mask logos.
The mask gives us the opportunity to be someone else—in our case, someone better. Eating with Vilgain is a metaphor for putting on a mask to enhance our performance, impacting every aspect of our lives.
Sometimes you get it right the first time; other times, it takes time and space. Such was the case with the Vilgain logo, which took over nine months and resulted in more than 1,400 versions. Here are a few sneak peeks.
Our goal is to awaken the hero within you who, through a healthy lifestyle, acquires abilities others don’t possess. Vilgain products come only from the most premium sources and embody the spirit. That’s why we found the analogy of the mask appropriate.
Vilgain even became the new nutritional partner of the Czech national hockey team, which, among other achievements, won the gold medal at the 2024 World Championships.
