YOUTUBE RAP INTERVIEW FORMAT
don’t even know how the idea came about, but it was crazy from the beginning. We just wanted to do interviews, but we didn’t have any moderators around. We were looking for some maybe 2 to 3 months, but unsuccessfully… So, I started with moderating :D… I think that we created something really cool because now Gtalk is something like a conceptual interview youtube show with a big name on the scene.
DESIGN
A really important part of the job was my own designs and when I say my own, I really mean own. Custom frames, IG stories, and posts were one of the strongest parts. We didn’t have expensive cameras and the recordings weren’t excellent quality, that was the reason I created the graphical frame around the video, thanks to which we could partly cover it up.
OLD DESIGN
AFTER REDESIGN
“always work more than others”
Thanks to these custom stories and posts, nearly every artist shares the IG story on my profile, which was a major point in the success of each episode.
CONTENT IS STILL #1
Well, I won’t lie, in the Czech Republic, all interviews stood on basic questions so it was clear we had to build the interviews completely differently. Before each episode, I studied the artist’s past and music for a couple of days, so the questions could become interesting. It showed out that was exactly what fans were missing.
SPACES FOR PLACES
In the beginning, we shot in the space of the never-ending white screen in our One Man Show studio in Karlín. After the redesign and transferring to The Mag I wanted something more, something better, something unique. The space of the Joshua saloon in Vinohrady was exactly what we were looking for. The proximity to the center of the city, untraditional but still street interior and the open-minded management were exactly what we needed.
THE RIGHT PEOPLE ALONGSIDE
No one can manage everything alone and without money, it gets even harder. It wasn't easy building a team that would work for almost no pay. Thank god fate gave me these people.

BIGGEST S/O
SOME NUMBERS
Numbers are important, and for us, exponentially. Without them, we could not continue doing what we do, because it would make sense. It was also a major player when negotiating the collaboration with The Mag.

The original concept of the G-talk show came about as a part of our magazine named Shut Down. After the closure of the magazine, I took the whole format to the Czech Youtube magazine The Mag and became a part of the team as a result.
